3e News hits your screens this Monday with a fresh, innovative, fast-paced show that will offer a new style of news for Ireland. 3e news will be fronted by Caroline Twohig, who has a degree in television production after studying at Cholaiste Dhulaigh and the University of Wolverhampton. She joined TV3 five years ago.

Caroline Twohig will front the daily 6pm show along with Cyber reporter, Cassie Stokes, and sports journo, Paul Walsh. Aimed at a younger audience, 3e News marks a significant development for the new channel. It will be the most interactive news programme on Irish television and will feature web and internet stories, top downloads, Bebo, Twitter and Facebook updates as well as showbiz, sport and international news, along with the best of Irish content.

Wanting to look like Kylie Minogue in the Locomotion video!! Also drawing hundreds of dresses and keeping them in notebooks!

D+G but its a bit out of my reach, I'm happy with high street!

Chloe Handbag, one can dream!

Awear or Warehouse, I can't go in without wanting to buy something!!


Most treasured piece?

Special edition Guess handbag I got in Vegas, I keep it in a box!


What’s your favourite item of clothing in your wardrobe and where did you get it?

A Warehouse cream satin dress I got for a wedding, it was a bargain but I love it! I think its sentimental value as well.


What’s your favourite boutique?

Fran and Jane or I used to love Julian for an LBD!


What’s your biggest style weakness?

I always tend to go for black! Thinks its a safety thing but there's something about black
satin!


Can you remember the biggest fashion faux paux you have every made?

There's been too many to remember! But I'd have to say PVC trousers, All photos have of course been destroyed!


Stranded on a dessert Island...what makeup products could you not live without?

Lip balm/ gloss (i loved Pout until they stopped making it) Moisturiser and mascara. Actually my whole makeup bag please!


How would you describe your style?

Classic with a bit of bling now and again.


What’s the best bargin you’ve ever nabbed?

The Awear sales can be great for bargains, I still wear a lot of things I got in the last sale! But I think my favorite was a black chiffon shirt I got for a tenner in there. I wore it loads and it has washed really well, still have it, bargain!


What is the most admired piece in your wardrobe?

A very dressy Wheels and Doll baby dress I bought online! I only wore it three times but got some lovely compliments.


Where was the last sale you blitzed?

Awear!


What was the last item you bought and where?

I bought a Savida top from Charlestown shopping centre.


Do you shop on-line? If so what’s your favourite website, if not, why?

I love ASOS, there's so much, you can shop for hours! Littlewoods are great too.


Most Expensive Item in your Wardrobe?

Prob the Wheels and Doll baby dress, or a Guess handbag, I have a serious weakness!

Do you have a favourite place to get your hair done?

My local Peter Marks is great, the lovely Elaine always makes me feel at home.

Don't try to look like anyone else, go with your own style and what suits your shape


Do you have any beauty secrets?

No secrets! But I think sleep is an overlooked beauty enhancer :-)


What’s your most memorable fashion moment?

Going to a black tie ball and feeling like a princess in a very fancy satin dress.


What should every woman have in their wardrobe?

An LBD (little black dress) that they can throw on and feel great instantly!


What’s your best last minute tip for feeling fabulous on the inside at an event or party?

Make sure you're with good company you can have a giggle with, you'll feel good no matter what you're wearing!


Finally, how has the recession affected how you shop?

I'm shopping less but buying a few more expensive things that will last longer.
