The Henry Street store was drenched with light and dressed in regal purple as over 500 eager guests poured in to the newly renovated shop. Champagne and creative canapés were served while a seven piece musical ensemble featuring a Steinway grand piano on the new jura limestone floor, entertained the full floor of guests.
The evening also showcased the very best of Autumn Winter fashion from the womenswear collections on the 1st floor. The show was styled by Colm Corrigan of RTE’s Off the Rails, and featured all of the key looks for the season including draping by Paul & Joe Sister and metallics from BCBG MaxAzria. Shoes by Pied a Terre and Bertie as well as bags from Longchamp and Coccinelle were big hits with guests.
Ice sculptures and cakes shaped as handbags, shoes and jewellery helped to decorate the new beauty hall, which has more than doubled in size. The beauty, jewellery and accessories departments have more than doubled in size and the store has introduced many new and exclusive brands to the store and to Ireland. Agatha Paris jewellery, Make Up Store, BECCA and Rituals are just some of the new and exclusive brands now available on the ground floor at Arnotts.
Guests included Sonya Lennon and Brendan Courtney from Off The Rails, actress Rachel Kavanagh, models Sarah McGovern and Lynn Kelly and Kirstie McDermot from beaut.ie
