Jimmy Choo BT launch in aid of Irish Autism Action

Brown Thomas recently announced the arrival this week of the highly covetable and world exclusive Donegal Tweed Jimmy Choo boots in aid of Irish Autism Action. The limited edition boots – the Breidin €825 and the Twillen €795 - were launched at Ireland’s chicest shoe emporium; The Shoe Rooms at Brown Thomas Dublin, during an exclusive reception on Tuesday evening.

TV personality and Patron of Irish Autism Action, Keith Duffy hosted the evening, together with fellow TV personality and IAA supporter Lorraine Keane. The ultra chic event began with a Tanqueray cocktail reception, where guests were treated to a choice of a Tanqueray Raspberry Martini or a Tanqueray White Lady, both of which added some zest to the evening’s proceedings.
Guests on the night included Keith’s beautiful wife Lisa, who looked stunning wearing a Louise Kennedy dress, Actress Leigh Arnold and her model sister Chloe, Magician Keith Barry and his beautiful wife Mairead, Miriam Ahern, Michael O’Doherty, Darren Kennedy, Nina Divito, Louise Loughman, Astrid Brennan and TV Presenter Isabella Chudzicka.

Brown Thomas CEO Nigel Blow, Buying Director Stephen Sealey and Head of Fashion Shelly Corkery were on hand to oversee the evening, while Charlotte Temple represented Donegal Tweed and Nazli Arad flew in from London to represent Jimmy Choo.
A silent auction held during the event also caused quite a stir, as prizes included a Sony e-reader, tickets for Lily Allen’s concert in the O2 on December 8th, a Nintendo DS Lite and Bundle Package, a Nintendo Wii and Bundle Package and also a pair of Jimmy Choo Donegal Tweed boots. This, together with the 25% of the proceeds raised from the sale of the exclusive boots, helped raise much-needed funds for Irish Autism Action.
